The public entrance and piazza to the hospital required a complete overhaul to enliven the entrance to the building. Part of the works entailed the recladding of the existing boiler plant and mechanical complex.

The units that form the new facade are laser cut, grade 316 stainless steel armatures with over 40Km of stainless steel braiding woven through them.

This forms a visually soft and yet permeable set of elevations.
